The decision to send a 15-year-old girl to juvenile detention after failing to complete her homework has sparked worldwide outrage.  This story represents a flawed and broken penal system that punishes children based on their race, learning disabilities, and behavioral issues.  We have been inspired by the thousands of people who have demanded justice for Grace.

Our first and foremost priority is the immediate release of Grace, but moving forward we need to make sure that the outrage during this moment can produce a movement to ensure that this does not happen again to any young person. Please sign up below to participate and volunteer in the campaign to #FreeGrace so that together we can take action to bring about the unified and transformational change to end the school to prison pipeline, transform our broken juvenile justice system and bring healing to young black and brown girls & boys.
